British actress Amy Jackson has trusted Atelier Pronovias for the creation of her second wedding dress for her marriage to the acclaimed actor Ed Westwick, known for his character Chuck Bass in the series "Gossip Girl".
The actress and model were able to experience the brand's values and expertise after attending Pronovias’s latest fashion show in Barcelona during Bridal Fashion Week in April, an event that marked a new direction for the bridal label and brought sophistication and glamour to all of its designs. Thus, Amy Jackson joins hands with Spanish craftsmanship to bring a new standard of modernity to one of Hollywood's most anticipated evenings.
The dress, made by Atelier Pronovias, is crafted from pure silk satin to fit the body and giving perfect shape to create a glamorous, sinuous silhouette. The flowing details, such as its delicate sleeves and the train with exuberant flair, are made from silk chiffon. The corset and gloves are entirely hand-embroidered and feature small bicolored crystals with a chevron design to add a touch of light and magic to the design. The model required a total of 32 hours for pattern making, 28 hours for embroidery, and 45 hours for construction.
