In the Pronovias fashion show, beauty took center stage thanks to the collaboration between Lancôme and L'Oréal Professionnel, who created fascinating looks that captivated the catwalk. Under the direction of stylist Natalia Bengoechea, Lancôme’s makeup highlighted each model's features, while L'Oréal Professionnel’s hairstyles complemented each outfit perfectly.
The makeup was characterized by its naturalness, with glowing skin and simple hairstyles that cleared the face with a middle part. Natalia Bengoechea led the styling of each look presented at the show, with the support of sponsors such as Lancôme, responsible for makeup, led by Roberto Siguero, who is Lancôme's National Makeup Artist, and L’Oréal Professionnel, responsible for hair and led by renowned Beatriz Matallana.
Lancôme Makeup Details
Makeup became an essential part of the show, with Lancôme and its Makeup Stars team led by Roberto Siguero. The presented looks were bold and contemporary, with Twiggy eyelashes, graphic eyeliners and frosty eyeshadows.
In the backstage, the Lancôme team transformed the models’ faces with the makeup looks designed by Siguero. In addition, fifty VIP guests had the chance to experience the magic of Lancôme makeup in the beauty room of Barcelona’s Grand Hyatt. With the artistic direction of Roberto Siguero, twelve makeup artists executed the creation and application of these looks, highlighting the elegance and sophistication of the Pronovias collection.
Roberto Siguero describes the looks: “The skin is perfectly prepared with anti-aging serum. The applied foundation has a luminous matte finish. The facial features are highly structured by combining two foundation tones. With a light and dark one, you can play with lights and shades and create volumes, contour cheeks, temples, etc. Lips are in a soft creamy pinkish nude tone and, depending on the model, we raised it to get one or two tones above their own lip tone.”
L'Oréal Professionnel Hair Details
L'Oréal Professionnel was responsible for creating the models’ hairstyles backstage, with the Pro Colorist and Raffel Pagés teams, led by Beatriz Matallana. In addition, Pronovias created a space at the Hyatt Hotel in Barcelona, where the invited celebrities got their hair styled, with the participation of freelancers associated with the firm.
The looks styled backstage intended to convey a relaxed and modern appearance, with four different hairstyles, all on straight hair, except for the models with afro hair. From middle-parted hair to side-parted bob haircuts, each style was adapted to the personality of the models and the dresses’ designs. Inspiration came from a collaboration between the stylist Natalia Bengoechea and the Pronovias designer, seeking a more modern and laid-back bride. This evolution towards naturalness and modernity stood out in contrast with the more traditional hairstyles from previous years, offering a fresh and elegant touch to the show.
